Dear Brother and Sister Martin,
Elder Martin arrived safely in Cape Town from the Johannesburg MTC late Tuesday morning. He spent Tuesday night in the mission home with us before leaving for his area on Wednesday with his new companion, Elder Bangerter. We have sent photos of him with the Cape Town contingent of his MTC group, in front of Lion's Head, at breakfast
with the trainers, with his companion, and with us. It was really exciting to hear about his ancestry, and the long-standing connection your family has to missionary work in South Africa. His P-day will be Monday. We will allow him to fill you in on details of his first
week.
Sincerely,
President and Sister Wood
